Tabernacle #4225, The Romanesque, in Gold Plated Brass

This striking Tabernacle, called The Romanesque, is part of the Artistic Silver Collection from Molina. The Tabernacle itself sits under a kind of Baldacchino with a barrel vault supported by four columns in the Romanesque style with an incised geometric pattern. In the tympanum above the door, there is a richly detailed depiction of the Sacrifice of Abraham with the Agnus Dei above. On the door there is a bas-relief of the Pantocrator in a mandorla surrounded by the symbols the Four Evangelists.

The Tabernacle is 25-1/2 inches high, 22 inches wide and 22 inches deep; the door opening is 9-1/8 inches high and 9-3/4 inches wide. The manufacturer currently offers this item only in Gold Plated Brass.
