The leader of all angels and the army of God, St. Michael the Archangel’s name means “one who is like God.” Known for his defense against evil, St. Michael is a powerful reminder to stand firm in faith and call upon God for protection.
One of the Church’s most familiar prayers calls upon his intercession:
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil...
The prayer asks St. Michael, Prince of the heavenly hosts, to defend us against evil and lead us in the spiritual battle.
These St. Michael the Archangel Adult Socks offer a joyful way to carry that reminder into everyday life. Wear them as a conversation starter, a reminder to ask for St. Michael’s intercession, or give them as a meaningful Catholic gift to someone with a special devotion to the great archangel.
