This item is part of the Artistic Silver Romanesque Collection created by Molina to celebrate the Romanesque Style, which flourished throughout Catholic Europe in the 11th and 12th centuries. The Romanesque Style was forged from diverse elements – Roman arches, Byzantine iconography, and Celtic ornamentation – into an innovative, unified and distinctive visual expression.

This graceful Romanesque Style Open Ciborium features figures of the Twelve Apostles standing in a typical Romanesque Arcade that runs around the bowl and the Symbols of the Four Evangelists on the base. It is 5 inches high with 6-1/4-inch diameter bowl that holds 350 Hosts.
