Evangelium Paschal Candle

Made from the finest beeswax, each EXIMIOUS Paschal Candle is handmade. The artisan transforms the wax through benchworking and hand-tooling to create intricate inlays, rich onlays, and classic sculpted engravings. Each candle is truly an individual work of art. For this reason, please allow four weeks for delivery. Friday, March 10, 2023 is the last day to order an Eximious candle with guaranteed shipment in time for Easter.

The design of the Evangelium Paschal Candle focuses on an intircate Cross embellished with 24-karat gold. At the heart of the Cross are medallions with the writers of the four canonical Gospels, represented, as they have been since ancient times, as the four living creatures that surround God's throne: Matthew, the Man; Mark, the Lion; Luke, the Ox; and, John, the Eagle.
