Cruet Set #754, the "St, Remy" in Gold Plated Brass

This item belongs to the Artistic Silver Maestro Collection from Molina which represents the summit of the silversmith’s art. The sacred vessels in this collection are hand crafted using the age-old techniques of the silversmith’s art that have flourished in Spain since the Middle Ages. Some of the articles are faithful replicas of historic vessels, while others are products of the artists’ extensive historical knowledge and creative imagination.

This Cruet Set was designed by the Molina artisans for use with their replica of the magnificent twelfth-century St. Remy Chalice, housed in the Cathedral of Reims (France), and considered one of the most beautiful examples of Romanesque art. The Tray and Cruet Holders are made in Gold Plated Brass with delicate filigree work and set with 20 semi-precious stones (Amethyst, Lapis Lazuli, Green Venturines and Garnets. The Tray is 9-1/4 inches long and 6 inches wide; the Cruets are 6 inches high.
