Cruet Set #753, The "Tassilo", in Gold and Silver Plated Brass

This item belongs to the Artistic Silver Maestro Collection from Molina which represents the summit of the silversmith’s art. The sacred vessels in this collection are hand crafted using the age-old techniques of the silversmith’s art that have flourished in Spain since the Middle Ages. Some of the articles are faithful replicas of historic vessels, while others are products of the artists’ extensive historical knowledge and creative imagination.

This Cruet Set was designed by the Molina artisans for use with their replica of the magnificent Tassilo Chalice, presented in 777, CE,to the Monastery of Kremsmunster(Germany), where it is still housed today. The Tray and Cruet Holders are made in Brass with delicate engraving finished in Two-Tone Gold and Silver Plating. The Tray is 10-1/4 x 7-1/8 inches; the Cruets are 6 inches high.
