Covered Ciborium #2501-1, Gold Plated Brass

This Covered Ciborium belongs the Artistic Baroque Collection, created by Molina to celebrate the Baroque Period of the 17th and early 18th centuries, when the tensions generated by the Reformation and Counter-Reformation contributed to the formation of distinctive of national identities. The vessels in this collection exhibit bold forms, undulating shapes, and elaborate ornamentation.

This Ciborium, made in Gold Plated Brass, features exquisite embossed ornamentation finished in extra heavy gold plating. It is 9-1/2 inches high with a 3-1/2-inch cup that holds 100 Hosts.
