Chalice & Paten #2490, Silver and Gold

This item belongs to the Artistic Silver Maestro Collection from Molina which represents the summit of the silversmith’s art. The sacred vessels in this collection are hand crafted using the age-old techniques of the silversmith’s art that have flourished in Spain since the Middle Ages. Some of the articles are faithful replicas of historic vessels, while others are products of the artists’ extensive historical knowledge and creative imagination.

This handsome Romanesque Style Chalice features the symbols of the Four Evangelists on its base and an iinscription that reads: Como el Senor me amo, asi os amo yo a vosotros, In English: as the Lord has loved me, so I love you.. It is 7-1/8 inches high with a 4-1/2-inch diameter cup that holds 15 ounces. It is provided with a 6-1/4-inch diameter Dish Paten. There are two purchase options for this Chalice.

• Option A: Chalice #2490-SS is made entirely in Sterling Silver with Gold Plated Cup.
• Option B: Chalice #2490-SS1 is made in Silver Plated Brass with in inner cup of Gold Lined Sterling Silver.
