Chalice & Paten #2435, Gold Plated

This item belongs to the Artistic Silver Maestro Collection from Molina which represents the summit of the silversmith’s art. The sacred vessels in this collection are hand crafted using the age-old techniques of the silversmith’s art that have flourished in Spain since the Middle Ages. Some of the articles are faithful replicas of historic vessels, while others are products of the artists’ extensive historical knowledge and creative imagination.

This beautiful Classic Chalice features a delicate grape and wheat ajour (openwork) motif on the outer cup, the node, and the stem of the base. On the base there are four medallions with hand painted kiln fired enamels that depict the Four Evangelists. The Chalice is 8-7/8 inches high with a 4-1/2-inch diameter cup that holds 14 ounces. A 6-1/4-inch diameter Scale Paten with a ring base is provided. There are two purchase options for this Chalice.

• Option A: Chalice #2435-SS is made entirely in Gold Plated Sterling Silver with Gold Lined inner Cup.
• Option B: Chalice #2435-SS1 is made in Gold Plated Brass with in inner cup of Gold Lined Sterling Silver.
