Chalice & Paten #2310, Gold Plated 925 Sterling Silver

This item belongs to the Artistic Silver Maestro Collection from Molina which represents the summit of the silversmith’s art. The sacred vessels in this collection are hand crafted using the age-old techniques of the silversmith’s art that have flourished in Spain since the Middle Ages. Some of the articles are faithful replicas of historic vessels, while others are products of the artists’ extensive historical knowledge and creative imagination.

This magnificent Chalice and Paten, called The Genesis is made of 24k Gold Plated solid 925 Sterling silver with extraordinary cloisonné enamels; the node is Lapis Lazuli. It is 7-5/8 inches high and has a 25 oz. capacity. The cup has images of the Pantocrator and the Archangels; the base shows the sacrifice of Melchizedek and other themes from the Book of Genesis. It is provided with a Scale Paten with te Pantocrator in kiln fired enamel.
