Chalice and Paten #2315, Gold Plated Brass

This item belongs to the Artistic Silver Maestro Collection from Molina which represents the summit of the silversmith’s art. The sacred vessels in this collection are hand crafted using the age-old techniques of the silversmith’s art that have flourished in Spain since the Middle Ages. Some of the articles are faithful replicas of historic vessels, while others are products of the artists’ extensive historical knowledge and creative imagination.

This magificent Chalice is made in Gold Plated Brass with intricate floral decoration on the base, fired enamels of the Nativity, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascention, and black onyx stones set in the node. It is 7-1/2 inches high with a 6-1/4-inch base and a 5-inch diameter cup. A 6-1/4-inch engraved Scale Paten is provided.
