This 21-inch statue of the Virgin and Child was carved in the Demetz Art Studio in northern Italy. It is carved from chestnut wood and finished with translucent wood stains and gilding.
Please note, the top part of the Virgin's left foot has broke off. For that reason and, because it is no longer in the Demetz catalog,it is offered at a special price.
