St. BlaIse Candle

St. Blaise, the martyred Bishop of Sebaste in Armenia, is reported to have miraculously prevented a young boy from choking to death. It is customary to bless the throats of the faithful on the Feast Day of St. Blaise with two crossed candles to preserve them from illness of the throat. For this purpose, Cathedral Candle has joined two 7/8-inch 51% Beswax candles, interwing them as one at the base.
