This icon of the Theotokos is a faithful copy of a Russian original of the 18th century. It is hand painted in the traditional manner on canvas mounted on wood. The haloes are rendered in champleve enamel. The icon is sheathed in silver plated copper.The icon measures 10-7/8 inches in width and 12-1/4 inches in height.
