The design for the decoration on this Cope is based on a detail from the fifteenth-century St-Ursulla Shrine in the Sint-Jan Hospital, Bruges, Belgium. Hendrik Slabbinck, founder of the company that bears his name, used this design as an inspiration to create this vestment. It is hand embroidered on velvet, a great fabric that enhances the beauty of the embroidery work.

This Cope is made in Cantate, a luxurious blend of 99% wool and 1% gold threads. The decorative pattern is hand embroidered on red velvet. This Cope is 57 inches long, unlined and does not include a stole. It can be ordered in sizes other than the standard 57-inch length. Please call for information and pricing on this and other custom options.

There are other items designed to match this cope including an Overlay Stole, a Mitre, and a Chasuble.

Please be aware that hand embroidered articles and custom items may require 2-3 months to complete. When Slabbinck confitms an order, they ptovide an estimated shipping date.
