Chasuble #2784, White Cantate with Hand Embroidered Orphreys

The design of the decoration on this Chasuble is based on a detail from the fifteenth-century St-Ursulla Shrine in the Sint-Jan Hospital, Bruges, Belgium. Hendrik Slabbinck, founder of the company that bears his name, used this design as an inspiration to create this vestment. It is hand embroidered on velvet, a great fabric that enhances the beauty of the embroidery work.

This Gothic Chasuble is made in Cantate, a luxurious blend of 99% wool and 1% gold threads. It 63 inches wide and 53 inches long with a stiffened roll collar of red velvet and hand embroidered orphreys. A simple inner stole is provided. It is possible to order this Chasuble in a size other than the standard 53-inch length. Please call for information and pricing.
